I can definitely relate to your story. Ihad a travel agent set up our trip so there would not be any mistakes because we were a party of 8 with 4 totally disabled people. Our travel agent re-confirmed everything the day before with WDTC and all was set. From the moment we stepped of the plane there was problems. No transportation as promised-spent 3 hours at the airport. Half of finally made it to our hotel and our reservations were so screwed up. Each set of 2 was in a different building and not in handicap rooms with an adjoining rooms. I politely showed our confirmation info and I explained why our group needed to stay together(weneeded to pool our resources of equipment and strong backs to take care of our friends). An hour and half later we were in the same building with adjoining room on 2 different rooms. I was very concerned because we had 5:00 pm paid for reservations for the HOOP-De-Doo revue and it was now 4:00 pm. The transportation dept sent a bus just for us. That was the end of our special treatment. When we checked out I asked for a manager and asked what they could do to compensate the 4 peaople in w/c's for our lost 1st day which they paid for and all they would do was to give us 8 one day passes which was of no value to them because it was their once in a lifetime trip. Shame on Disney! Our travel agent was able to get each person a $50.00 rebate for all the probems(too many to list) but it took 3 months. Disney doesn't have a clue about what a truly disabled guest needs and are unwilling to even listen to any suggestions. Thanks for letting me vent.

I was sorry to read your account but I am not surprised considering our latest encounter with Disney "Magical" customer service. Amazingly enough for a company who prides themselves on going the extra mile, there is no phone number for complaints. When I enquired where to call, I was handed a card for Customer Relations that listed only a mailing address and an email address. A call to the information line resulted in being put on terminal hold. Disney is obviously not worried about the complaints that they earn since they are making millions everyday.

Wow, that really is sucky! I'd love to see the Osborne lights. The Osborne's have gorgeous lights in Hot Springs and Little Rock AR. Very nice people when you meet them...maybe Disney should take lessons on being gracious from them.
