Twitter Weekly Updates for 2010-08-01
- This pic is for Shannon. http://twitpic.com/28o4nl #
- What makes people in NYC hotels feel that letting their room door slam at all hours is acceptable? Every time I'm here. Same story. #
- I just had a student in my Red Hat class ask if there was a Windows machine she could use instead. The point of this class, you've missed it #
- Thinking of picking up an ebook reader. What's folks opinions on the B&N nook? I don't need fancy as I'm hard on things while travelling. #
- Gave up on Cyanogen. This shit is a nightmare. There's no one "this is how it's done" guide. Chasing dead links to useless pages is stupid. #
- I'm pretty sure my manager wants me to quit. There's no other explanation for my schedule. In the next 4 weeks I'll have 24 hours at home. #
- Resumé on job sites just flipped to active. I signed up for a max 75% travel. Not 100%. I really did/do like the job though. #
- In the mood for BBQ I went to Hill Country BBQ here in NYC. $22/lb for brisket? They are insane. Smelled like TX but damn! #
- You know the Pad Thai is spicy when you get hiccups 1/2 way through the plate. #
- Looks like we're gonna get a bit wet. http://twitpic.com/29ovck #
- At my current travel rate I'm gonna make Exec Plat on AA. Sitting at 50k miles for the year. About to tack on another 25k this coming week. #
- I'm in a much much better mood this afternoon than yesterday thanks to a long chat. #
- I never check my post class survey a scores. Today I did. Why is there always one person that rates low? Must be the East German judge. #
- A cool door in SoHo. http://twitpic.com/29u91f #
- How does one lose a shoe insole? It's nowhere in my hotel room. What the hell was I doing in my sleep last night? #
- I like walking past the fresh flowers and plants outside my NYC hotel in the morning. http://twitpic.com/29zwlg #
- Damn, Wall Street Tourists. Stop gawking and start walking. #
- Cool shot of the Brooklyn Bridge on the way to JFK. http://twitpic.com/2a229m #
- And so it begins. Breakfast at Rudy's with the family before I start my long journey to Rio de Janeiro. AUS>JFK>MIA>GIG. Ouch. #
- Leg one done. Now to hop down the coast to Miami. #
- Where's Tony now? Miami. I think the day I walk into the 'quiet room's at the Admirals Club and someone isn't on the phone will never happen #
- Even better. Six Brazilian ladies just walked in. Brazilians have one volume setting: loud. So much for a quiet room. #
- I made it to the hotel safe and sound at 8am this morning. I'll post pics in a bit. #
- Only have BBC World on the TV and 30Kbps internet service for $16/day. Glad I brought the nook. Looks like I'll be doing a lot of reading. #
