Movie Review

We had nothing better to do today so we decided to go see a movie. We chose Spirited Away, a Japanese import, anime to those in the know. It was a pretty darn good movie. If you are a fan of anime as we are I suggest going out and seeing it. If you aren’t a Japanimation fan it’ll probably confuse you with it’s surrealness but you might still enjoy it. Dakota loved it and we might go see it again in the theaters soon.

An addicitive webpage…

Try out this webpage if you have a few hours to spare. I’ve spent way too much time trying to get perfect orbits. For a real challenge, try to get a satellite to orbit the moon. I’ve gotten one to orbit the moon for about a couple hours before it finally cratered. Or for the same sort of fun but the ability to score point try out Kevin the Spaced Penguin.

World’s funniest joke…

It’s official. Scientists have found the world’s funniest joke after years of research. The British Association for the Advancement of Science announced today that they had found it.

“Two hunters are out in the woods when one of them collapses. He doesn’t seem to be breathing and his eyes are glazed. The other man pulls out his phone and calls emergency services.

He gasps to the operator: “My friend is dead! What can I do?” The operator in a calm, soothing voice replies: “Take it easy. I can help. First, let’s make sure he’s dead.”

There is a silence, then a shot is heard.

Back on the phone, the hunter says, “Ok, now what?”

Not bad…I preferred one of the runner-ups. But, being a Texan, I would.

TEXAN: “Where are you from?”

HARVARD GRAD: “I come from a place where we do not end our sentences with prepositions.”

TEXAN: “OK — where are you from, jackass?”

Where do I apply for this job?
