Cedar Fever

11:00 pm on Friday, January 2, 2004

They say there are two kinds of people in Central Texas: Those that have allergies and those who will get them. I’m one of those with allergies. We’ve lived near Austin for 8 years now. The first couple of years I had no problems then the problems started. This is the worst year yet. I’ve tried everything. Sudafed, Claritin, Benadryl, you name it. We have a large canister HEPA filter going 24 hours a day in our bedroom but nothing helps. Luckily this only last a few weeks every year.

Mountain juniper
An invention of Satan
It should all be burned

Damn cedar fever
Runny nose and stuffy ears
I am suffering

My allergy meds
They don’t stop my misery
Please pass the Kleenex

Here comes the pollen
A nasal amputation
Is the solution

the meds don’t help. I either want to be put into a coma for the duration or start making enough money to get out of town. Who can afford to take a 4 week vacation tho every january? better go with the coma.

Visit your acupuncturist!! I am one myself and also suffer HORRIBLE cedar fever. I use an herbal product that yields great results. It is hard to acquire during cedar searson, but I set myself up, along with my cedar allergy patients, ahead of time and we are ready for the season.

If you would like to make an appointment with me for acupuncture and or herbal consultation call 431-8704.
